0 Game 2: An Epic Fourth Quarter

Mavs take 95-93 win over Heat, even series 1-1

It was indeed a critical start for the Mavs to lift themselves to a Game Two win, but miraculously it only took a left-handed lay-up from their talisman with a torn tendon in his left middle finger to end the second game of the NBA Finals with a big comeback win.

With seven minutes and 14 seconds to play in the second half, Heat's lead ballooned to 15 points, 88-73, and I was like, "Why worry? There'll be Game Three!"

But the Mavs did some good run to overcome the 15-point deficit, tying the game, 90-90, with only 57.6 seconds left.

My Dirk Nowitzki threw his three-pointer, providing the Mavs a 93-90 lead, with 26.7 seconds to play. Heat's guard Mario Chalmers then tied the ball game, 93-93, with his three-pointer response.

The epic heart-stopping lay-up from Nowitzki, with only 3.6 seconds left, has made Game Five necessary.
